The figure scene above is known as a Mycenean female figure. None is known about its creater. However it is known to come from 13th century B.C. which is the Late Helladic IIIB period. its culture is Helladic, Mycenaean.

The Mycenaen culture was located in greece in the thirteenth century B.C. this was begun around the 1600 B.C. This cvilation was heavily influenced by the Minoan Crete culture. This peice was created during the bronze age. Though it was made during the bronze age it was made from other materials which were abundant in the mycenean culture at that time. This was located in mainland greece.

Though we do not know who made this, it is known that it was hand made. This is made from terracotta. This is made from clay but not on a potters wheel. it is like pottery but it is not used for the same thing. this figure couldve been for a releigous ceremnony or for decoration.

This is therefore a beautiful part of history. This work of art will remind everybody for generations to come that history can be beautiful. Never froget the past.
